BIO
I'm Nathan, I love writing, recording, and playing music. I think music is a language that everyone understands so I try to tell stories the best I can through my songs. I grew up in Nashville, TN, where I learned to play guitar. At the start of the 2020 pandemic, I had to go through cancer treatment. It was the toughest thing I've ever done, but now as a current Composition and Technology student at Auburn University, I am learning more and more everyday about the healing powers of music!

Work with Teen Cancer America
In 2020, I was diagnosed with leukemia. Through hospital connections, I learned about the non-profit, Teen Cancer America. After I learned the founders were none other than Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend from The Who, I immediately decided to reach out to them. I was soon connected with the Play It Back Program, where I met with producers, professional musicians and other cancer survivors on virtual meetings. Through this, I gained valuable songwriting and production experience. I was used this experience to release my first album, Hoop De Hoop. I'm really grateful for this resource as it has been a tremendous help for me during my treatment and for my long-term goals with music.
